you will hear
about it
Tell us which wines and which producers you're waiting on. We look at Vinmonopolet every night so you don't have to, and email you the morning one of them is buyable again — or the morning an estate you follow lists something it has never sold before. Nothing to buy here, nothing to scroll.
You've been here before. Welcome back.
No account yet? Winos is invite-only for now. Ask for access — a real person reads every one.
One line per wine,
however many years
We ignore the year in the name, so the follow you set in 2024 still catches the 2026. Follow the whole estate instead and you'll hear about anything new they list, not only the bottles you already knew to want.
Someone has to keep looking
It may as well not be you. Here's the whole of it — there is no fourth step.
We check the shop
Politely, and very slowly, between midnight and five. Vinmonopolet didn't ask us to come round, so we tiptoe.
We spot what moved
Yesterday's shelf against today's. Anything that went from you-can't to you-can gets a flag, and so does anything an estate you follow has never listed before.
You get one email
One. At the time you picked, with everything in it. A wine that dithers in and out of stock can't nag you twice.
What it doesn't do
Sell you wine
You buy at Vinmonopolet, like always. We point at the bottle and then get out of the way.
Rate anything
No scores, no tasting notes, no opinions about minerality. You know what you like.
Mail you for following
Following something is silent. You choose separately what's worth an email.
Promise you the bottle
A few dozen bottles arrive and the internet finds out. We get you looking the same day — we can't hold it for you.
Invite-only, for now
One small machine does the looking, and it only has so many hours before dawn. Tell us your email and what you're waiting for, and we'll be in touch.
Nobody's ahead of you right now. There's no queue number and nobody will drip-feed you a newsletter.
